# You Don’t Have to Decorate the Whole Room to Have a Beautiful Party

A beautiful party doesn’t require decorating every part of the room. Share your inspiration, priorities, and budget so we can create a setup that fits your vision and what you’re comfortable spending.

You Don’t Have to Decorate the Whole Room to Have a Beautiful Party

I love a beautiful inspiration picture. Full florals, multiple backdrops, a lot of balloons, room draping, and custom handmade centerpieces. It’s gorgeous, and I would love to create something like that for you if you have the budget for it.

But we also have to talk about what it takes to put that together.

Sometimes a customer sends me a picture with all those details, and I can give them what they’re asking for. The challenge is that the price might not be what they expected.

That doesn’t mean we can’t create something beautiful. We just need to figure out which parts you really want, what isn’t necessary, and what works within your budget.

Tell me what you love about the picture

When you send an inspiration photo, tell me what caught your attention.

Is it the colors? The backdrop? The flowers? Do you love how full the balloons look, or do you mainly want a cute place to take pictures?

Those answers help me understand your idea. Otherwise, I might be pricing every detail in the picture when you really only wanted something similar in the same colors.

Tell me what you’re comfortable changing, too. Maybe one arch would work instead of three. Maybe you love the flowers but don’t need them covering the entire backdrop. Or maybe smaller centerpieces would still give you the look you want.

You can absolutely send me your dream setup. Just let me know your budget along with it so we can have a realistic conversation about the options.

There’s a lot that happens before setup

Before I get to your venue, I’ve already spent hours figuring out what we need, finding materials, ordering supplies, and preparing the pieces for your event.

Sometimes that means shopping. Sometimes it means designing, printing, cutting, or making something by hand. I may also put parts of the setup together beforehand to make sure everything works.

Custom handmade pieces take time. Making a centerpiece specifically for your party involves more work than buying something ready to use.

Then there’s packing everything and figuring out how to get it to your event. Depending on the size of the setup, I may need a larger vehicle or a rental to transport it.

Once we arrive, everything has to be unloaded, assembled, and placed. If you want a large setup or the venue gives us a short window, I may need additional people to help. Those people have to be paid, too.

After the celebration, there’s coming back, taking everything down, loading it up, and putting it away.

That work is part of the cost of hiring a decorator. You’re paying for the materials and for someone to find them, prepare them, transport them, and put everything together.

I learned early how to make a decorating budget stretch

Growing up, my dad would give me $100 to go to Party City, and that was what I had to decorate with. I had to figure out what I wanted, what we actually needed, and how to make that money stretch.

To my dad, the food was the most important part. We would spend hundreds of dollars on catering, but the decorations had their own smaller budget.

I think that’s part of what got me started. I enjoyed figuring out how to make things look nice with what I had.

Now that I do this professionally, I understand how much time and work goes into a setup, too. But I still remember shopping with that $100 budget.

For my dad, the priority was feeding everyone. For you, it might be the backdrop, the desserts, or the custom details. It helps to decide that before you start booking everything.

Tell me your budget from the beginning

If you can spend $300, let me know that from the get-go. I can tell you what you can get within that budget and what would cost extra. A simple backdrop with some balloons could be an option.

If you have $200, we could focus on balloons, and you could provide your own backdrop. Or you could rent a backdrop from me and do your own balloons.

Depending on your budget, that might mean coming to pick up the balloons or rental items and setting everything up yourself. Delivery and installation have their own fees, so something you pick up will have a different total than something I deliver and install.

Renting a few items and putting them up yourself can be a good option. You still get pieces that help bring your idea together, while taking on some of the work yourself.

You don’t have to feel uncomfortable telling me what you can spend. It gives me somewhere to start and helps me suggest options that actually work for you.

Your budget could go toward something else

Maybe a backdrop isn’t your priority. Maybe you want something personalized that your guests can take home.

With $200, we could explore custom favors, like gable boxes, chip bags, or goodies to go inside the boxes. The quantity would depend on the items and design you choose.

Or you could get five dozen treats for $200 and arrange them on a treat table yourself.

You might already have a table, a tablecloth, and some stands you can use. Adding custom treats that match your colors or theme could be the detail you’re looking for.

There are different ways to use the same budget. That’s why I want to know what you’re most excited about before we decide what to include.

Doing it yourself is an option, too

Event decor is a luxury. You don’t need a professionally decorated room to celebrate someone you love.

If you want to make your own backdrop or put together your own balloons, you may be able to spend less money. You’ll be handling the shopping, preparation, transportation, and setup, so think about whether you have the time and want to do that work.

Some people enjoy making everything for their party. Other people would rather have someone handle it so they can focus on getting ready and spending time with their guests.

You can also do a combination. Order balloons from me and handle your own backdrop. Rent a backdrop and decorate it yourself. Pick up custom favors or treats and set up your own table.

You don’t have to book every service.

One main setup can be enough

If you really want beautiful family pictures, we can focus on one backdrop and keep the rest of the room simple. If you love desserts, we can put more attention into that display. If the table details matter most, we can talk about centerpieces and personal touches.

At Carlee’s first birthday, we had decorations that never made it out of their boxes. We didn’t get to use the strawberry and daisy foil balloons or some of the cutouts I brought. We also changed our dessert display when the candy cart didn’t work out.

That happened because our setup time changed, but it reminded me that we didn’t need every idea I had for the party to look beautiful.

We still had beautiful places for pictures, cute details throughout the room, and activities everyone enjoyed. I loved how it came together.

Let’s figure out what works for you

You don’t have to know exactly how everything will look before you reach out. That’s something I can help you figure out.

Bring your inspiration, tell me what you love, and let me know your budget. If the full setup costs more than you want to spend, we can talk about what to simplify or change.

Whether you want help with the whole event or just balloons, a backdrop, custom favors, or treats, I’m happy to talk through your ideas. I’ll explain what’s included and any separate delivery or installation fees before you book.

Visit eventfullyyoursgr.com to explore what we offer and send an inquiry. Tell me what you’re celebrating, and let’s figure out what works for you.

Let’s talk about it.
